Mini Vinnies sell doughnuts in their pyjamas

Mini Vinnies from Cubbington raised money for the NHS by selling doughnuts – and wearing pyjamas.

The youngsters from Our Lady & Saint Teresa's Catholic Primary School raised more than £300 for Warwick Hospital.

They told the Leamington Courier: "The doughnuts were delicious, especially the pink ones with sprinkles.

“It was something different and it was good knowing that the money was going to Warwick Hospital as they have done so much for our local community and need the money now more than ever.”

The school has an active group of Mini Vinnies, a branch of the St Vincent de Paul Society for primary school children.
